Is it okay to enjoy the misery of my brother?

Is it okay for me to be somewhat happy that my brother is flunking college and will be the black sheep of the Holiday dinners with the family?

my little brother who was always the good son and went to the college my parents wanted and the program they wanted him to go into... and now he has to go back home and tell them he failed 2 more classes and will drop out.

I do feel some sadness for him but I also feel some smug happiness.

Is that normal to feel?
