My bf just broke up with me because i wouldn't have sex.

My boyfriend just dumped me not too long ago, and i thought it was because i broke my wrist so i could cheer in states, but then, i got to thinking, and he also told his best friend, that he broke up with me because i wouldn't have sex with him. I really love him and i'm starting to think i should go back to him so that we can be back together. at first i was really mad, but now i really miss him. Should i have sex with him? Or would that be a bad decision?
