Is she being selfish, hypocritical, or unfair? Or am I cheap?
We're both college students. I have an underemployed mother who has to provide for my 2 little brothers, so I'm living off financial aid. My girlfriend has a working mother with low but decent pay, and a rich, generous foreign father who's excluded from American documents, so she's also living off financial aid.
We're both saving for summer school, which we expect to cost us at least a couple thousand dollars. She says she needs to attend summer school in order to graduate a year early, so I'm also preparing myself to stay with her, but with no hopes of graduating early. We have different majors, so different graduation requirements.
