Should i go see a friend, whos a boy?

I have a boyfriend of 3 years, and also have another guy friend , that i've spoken to over the phone, internet etc, but have never met him. i trust him and all and want to see him, but if i tell my bf im gonna see him he will get paranoid and if i dont tell him it will be on my mind and i will feel guilty. but i cant stop thinking about this certain person.
