Is is OK for a childhood friend of the opposite sex to come and stay with your significant other?

I have been with my fiance for 6 years. He has a childhood friend coming to stay with him for 4 days. I've never met her or spoke to her. He claims she is like a sister, but I feel it is inappropriate for her to stay. What do you think?
