Should I go to the show or not?
My wife and I have a 3 year old son who is fascinated by the Curious George show. There is a live show coming to our town and we think it would be great if he could go and watch it.
Now, the crux of the problem is that I told my wife that I'm not really interested in going. I had accompanied them to an Elmo show and it was fine, but I got bored and thought I could better spend my time.
In this case, the show time is at 10:30am, so I would miss work to go. They do have a second show time at 7 pm, but that would interfere with our 3 year old's night time schedule etc.
My wife believes that I should go and feels that it is important for me to spend this time with my son as these are the memories that he will have.
I feel that it would be okay if I skipped this because it is not necessarily quality time with me, but more of entertainment for him. Plus, my wife and mother-in-law would be accompanying him anyway.
So, what do you guys think? Do I go, or not? The tickets are $22 per person or something.
