Can somebody please explain this behaviour?

I just brought home my new bird. A baby greencheek conure- 6 weeks old and handraised.

He's gorgeous but he wont stop squawking and flapping! Sometimes he'll bite. Ive always had birds (greencheeks included: handraised and avairy) and have never experienced this before. He has been weaned and loves people. He is currently falling asleep on my collarbone.

What is causing this odd behaviour and how can i make it stop?
