Why Isn't My Boyfriend Texting Me Back

I saw him Friday but only spent an hour together since his scheduale is so hectic with football. Then next day after his game ended we texted until 4pm when he stopped replying. Whenever he doesn't reply theres always a good reason so I texted him goodnight anyway and that I miss him. It's the night after and he still hasn't replied yet he's updating his fb status. I'm so confused right now.
