my bf is a typical defence guy bt he doesnt call fr weeks partly coz of his job how long shud i stand dis?

my bf is a defence personnel n we havnt seen him fr 2 months nw coz either of us was away. also he doesnt call me wen hes away bt i do wen m outta town. i understand him not being able to meet coz of his work bt he shud atleast call . i worry abt him wen he doesnt n end up calling him every tym bt den i feel im pestering him.i dont know if i shud b ok wid dis n let him b or shud hang on to him. wud he appreciate my concern or jst think m an obsessive gf ....plz help
