Moving In Together

I sublet my furnished apartment and am moving into my boyfriends apartment. My lease has 2 months left on it and his has 6 months. We agreed to split the rent for the time that we live in his place together. When my lease is up I will have to sell what we are not keeping for the new apartment that we will get together when his lease is up and, because the few pieces I will keep wont fit into his place for the remaining 4 months on his lease, I will have to store them. I think that we should split the cost of moving and storing the pieces that I will keep for our new place and the cost of moving his stuff into the new place - basically split all costs of moving in together.
