Is it reasonable to compromise on a weekend trip that has one event one person will enjoy but the other won't

My girlfriend and I have been together for two years now. We generally have a really great life living together and have many common interests. We both want to do more things away from home together. I have suggested that we go to Vegas (short drive from home) for Memorial day weekend. We have talked about going in the past have agreed that it could be fun. But on this particular weekend, I am keen to go because there are a number of House DJs there that I would want to see. She doesn't care for this genre of music. I'm open for doing anything else the entire weekend if we can see one show, one night. She is adamant that she won't go. I don't think that it is too much to ask to want to go out dancing one night with your significant other, even if it isn't the other's favorite music. Am I asking for too much?
