Ive been dating a girl but she doesnt really keep in touch

Its been about 2-3 months since we met but i hear from her maybe once or twice a week, mainly because of family issues that were recently solved and her job. She swears she likes me and wants to pursue something serious but i kinda get the runaround. Its been about 2 weeks since i actually seen her and about a week since i talked to her. Should i still go after her and be patient or just be friends?
