how to tell my mum to back off a bit

my mum phones me every weekend, twice on saturday, twice on sunday for an hour a time. I've started not answering and making excuses, but I want to be honest and say it is too much, but she;ll take it like I dont like her as she asks if she has done wrong on occassions when I dont answer. She phones also because it's free!
