Past 15 teen years My Husband has no interest in taking vacations with us (Wife and 3 teens)

Each year, he did not go with us on
vacation. I have taken kids to Disney, Six Flags
New York, Washington DC, He says
he does not like the hot weather, crowds or
basically he just is not interested in where we are going.He has retired now and now I feel
it is time for no more excuses.Did I let him
get away with being an involved father. I like
fun and never really thought to push fun onto
him but maybe I should have made him Go?
