He said he loved me for 9 months, took it back and then now says he loves me again?

I have been with my boyfriend for about 10 months now. He first told me he loved me about 3 months into the relationship. He was constant about the 'I love you's' until about two weeks ago when I had the day off and was pretty much gone in town all day (we don't live together but I spend pretty much each day at his house anyways). He didn't call me all day, so I texted him... no response. I got back at 11 pm that night. He was taking a shower. I walked in and asked why he hadn't called me, and he didn't answer me. He just kept on showering... I repeated the question, still no answer. Finally out of frustration I asked, "Do you still love me? You aren't acting like it." His shocking reply? "Not really, no."

He said he was breaking up with me that night. I went to the kitchen and started crying, wondering what the heck happened since a few days ago he told me he loved me! He must of felt bad because he took back that he was going to break up with me and said he'd give it a week, but don't get my hopes up...

Well, a week has come and gone. He is now saying he loves me again if I say it to him, which totally confuses me. The day that was exactly a week from the day he was going to break up he said he'd give it a few more days to see... what do I do?
