We just had a baby...shouldnt we try for a relationship??

A met my daughters father at work. We both live in Orlando Florida but were immediately drawn to each other because we were both originally from south Jersey. So we started hanging out. 2 months later I was pregnant. We see each other everyday, and still sleep with each other. I want a relationship and he doesnt. Shouldnt we at least try to have one since we're always together, have a child, and get "jealous" whenever the other one is somewhat involved in another person. Might as well....right????
