My girlfriend and I ran into her ex boyfriend in Olive Garden. He was with his parents and we we just out together.
She hasn't updated her facebook to say we are together and when we said the awkward hello she called me a friend. She said she's just trying to be nice but I don't want him thinking she is still available.
The reason they broke up is because she moved away and then moved back. He had a girlfriend when they did and now he is single. We started dating while he had someone else.
I didn't tell him I was her boyfriend because I was mad and just left for the bathroom. But she says she didn't want to make him feel bad for being alone. Seems like a way to go 'hey, I'm single too.'

I was very close with him and his whole family and we didn't break up on bad terms. I don't want to rub anything in to him or his parents. They were just in town to visit my ex. He moved back for a job not for me.
I am still friends with him and we still talk on facebook. I didn't update the facebook because I just didn't. That's not a huge deal to me.
