Popcorn Balls

Side 2
Side 1 says... Our kids went trick or treating and my wife is very unruly strange about what candy she lets them eat from their baskets. Anything that is slightly open or seems tampered with is unacceptable and thrown in the trash. That's fine. But then there are popcorn balls. They received a few from close neighbors we've known for years. They come wrapped like a tootsie roll with a paper cover rather than sealed plastic and are not homemade. They are WONDERFUL. But she won't let them eat them for fear they've been tampered with. Only these neighbors distributed them and they come in bigger plastic sealed bags so I seriously doubt they've been touched.

Overprotection?

Side 2 says... I don't believe in taking a risk like that. It's just common sense. They are cheap enough I could go buy them for the kids. He just is not thinking what kind of people there are in this world. I know they are our neighbors but I can never be sure. They always have seemed a little off to me and they have never had kids and do not want them. Who knows. It's just better to be safe than sorry. This is not coddling. It's just watching out for an 8 and 6 year old.
