My Husband Invites Strangers To Our Home

Side 1 says... My husband hosts a podcast from our basement, and he'll occasionally invite local "celebrities" to interview them. i'm fully supportive of it, but have made one request - use the side door (which leads directly to the basement) when his guests arrive. I am a new mother, and just want to be free to be in my robe or topless to breastfeed, without having to worry about changing rooms when people walk through the front door and through the house. Also, I hate having a messy house regardless of who comes over, so I don't want to deal with that stress of cleaning up for someone I don't even know, when they can easily just come in from the side.

My husband thinks it's rude to ask them to use the side door, as he's inviting them into our home, not just the studio. I disagree, obviously. Who's to say a side door is insulting and inferior?

Side 2 says... Firstly, they're not strangers. I know these people - not personally, but they are in the public eye.

Secondly, asking guests to come through the side is like I'm herding sheep. It's rude. These are guests to my home, which doesn't happen very often (twice a month). My wife can go out or just stay in another room during that short time if she really wants privacy.
