While traveling with my parents on vacation, the three of us will be sharing a room. I plan to "call dibs" on whichever bed my dad chooses as a joke when we enter our hotel room.
I'm sure my parents will laugh and think it's funny. You'd feel comfortable making the same joke if you were in my situation, right?

No way would I feel comfortable in that situation. I have a good relationship with my parents and all, but joking about sleeping with one of them seems like a perfect example of a taboo topic. Maybe I'm not quite as buddy-buddy with my parents as others are, but I personally wouldn't joke about this with them. Would you?
