This guy I don't like wants to go to the movies with me?

This guy has kind of been hinting on me that he likes me. But I really don't like him, he's an okay friend but nothing more than that. I don't want to have a relationship with him and all we do is txt eachother, nothing more than that.

He wanted to help me out with Math since I failed the course last year, so I had to take it again this year but I'm failing once again. I said, no it's okay I don't need help blablabla.

But then he recently txt me and was like, "Maybe we can just skip the study date and go to the movies together then?"

My friends don't like him, and do not know that I'm still txting with him. I just don't want to be too mean on him since he's not liked in school that much.

What should I reply as an excuse, he knows I'm staying home today and tomorrow. :(
