I need some signals I can give that I'm single?

I just got out of a 2 year relationship, most of my friends are guys. When we go out no other men talk to me, because they figure I'm "WITH" my friend? Or when they do they assume that we are together even if I say I'm not. What kinda signals can I give to tell men I'm single without having to actually tell them?
