Are we soul mates?

Hello, this sounds really stupid but I am really confused. I have known this guy forever and I knew we thought similar but suddenly we are thinking exactly the same. We say things at the same time. We do the same things. Its like we have the same brain. I'm not going to says he's not attractive because he is but I have just never been attracted to him. Now people keep telling us we are soul mates but I dont know. I thought you were supposed to know with soulmates like instantly. Help me. What do you think?
