Can an ex voyeur (peeping Tom) ever be trusted again?
About a year ago a discovered footage of our neighbour in the bath on our computer. It turns out that my boyfriend had been filming her and other women in our area for years (without their knowledge). He explained that he had been a ‘voyeur' since he was about 9 when he accidently saw the girl opposite getting changed.
After I found out he was devastated, said that it was habit more than sexual. He went to the police (because I said that I wouldn't take him back unless he did) and handed in all his computer equipment and cameras etc. After 6 months of wondering whether he was going to be taken to court and jailed he was finally released and after a year of therapy for sex addiction we are back together.
Despite everything we are an amazing couple (we're the couple that other people are jealous of) in and out of bed everything is wonderful he is caring and adores me and I love him with all my heart but sometimes the devastation of what happened hits me and I can't breath, I feel sick….. can I trust him? Should I trust him?
