Give Up? Or Could It Work?

For the past year and some odd months, I have been seeing/randomly hooking up with a guy. We are in college in Alabama. He is from the other side of the country (CA). I have always had feelings for him; however, recently the feelings seem to have become mutual...or maybe he's just making them more aware to me. Upon graduation in December, I will have the opportunity to move to Baton Rouge.....he will still be in school here. I would easily decide to stay, if he could just open up. I know he cares for me. It's a tough situation because we both blow off the situation as something that "just happens." However, we do both know that we can't live without one another. Am I just dazed and blinded by my feelings for him? Could this work?
