what does it mean when an ex- girlfriend keeps texting me?

The ex girlfriend broke up with me in feb. but we still talk. i would say that 90% of the time she starts texting me. my friends say she still likes me. one of them say that she talks to me because i give her the attention that she wants. oh and she knows i have a new girlfriend.
