Do you think it is ok that I ask my girlfriend to pay every once in awhile when we go out the eat?

The deal is I was laid off for 5 months and used savings to support myself. Now that I got a new job I am trying to build my savings back up. Do you think it would be rude of me to ask a girl I've only been dating for 3 weeks to make an effort to pay once in a while?
