Is having a really strong pet peeve unusual?

There are a couple of things people do in public that just make me crazy. They don't do them to me. They just do them, and I feel critical and sort of "socially offended," if that makes any sense. I don't do anything about my feelings, but I really get angry inside. Am I the only one who reacts so negatively to the behavior of total strangers?
