What do call when he comes home at nite with not very much to say at least once a week ?

he will come home sometimes with not very much to say ,I will ask if he is hungry answer is no ,then goes to bed and turn his back ,so I have no one to talk to not even kiss goodnite ,am I reading too much into this .
