what would a 19year old guy like in a female friend?

my best friend is going to introduce me to a college mate of hers when i go to her place for the vacations..she has bragged about me to a guy a lot and thinks we can be good friends..i dont understand how i will be able to live up to my image that shes created . shes known me for 5 years thats why she has seen the super nice aspect of mine as a friend which i dont put on public display to everyone...
and people generally dont tend to like me till they know me really well....
