how to deal with my ex gf?

My ex broke up with me because we had been arguing. She said she still loves me, will contact me and wants me to be in contact with her family. I have been told she has meet someone but their not dating, just talking. How should I feel about this? And does it seem like we just need some time alone for now? We were dating for two and a half years. Thank you. Its been three weeks, should i let her contact me?
