Am I being unreasonable to expect my actual birthday to be somewhat special?

My Birthday is today. My boyfriend proposed to me on Friday Night, took me away under the cover of my birthday and proposed to me. We went out with some friends on Sat for drinks to celebrate my birthday.

And then today, he treats it like any other day, where i have to help clean up the house, we do grocery shopping, we watch a movie that he spends most of it fixing our fish tank, went to the pool which i wanted to, but is playful with me by dunking me under the water a thousand times, even asking him to stop.. then i have my friend and her boyfriend over and he decides we should play a computer game, then he starts to watch a show he wants.

Once I got upset at him for not making my actual birthday special by even just doing half the stuff i wanted, he told me i am to old to want to be special for my birthday, and that i have a hide to complain about this weekend, cause he proposed.

Am I being unreasonable to expect my actual birthday to be somewhat special?
