Should I be worried -- Facebook flirting.

First of all, we are in a long-term serious relationship. My boyfriend has never cheated on me as far as I know, and I'm not really that worried about it. I'm not overly jealous, but a few things I've seen on his Facebook recently are just a tiny bit bothersome.

A few months ago he left his Facebook logged in and I saw a private message he sent to someone he used to work with. It was pretty harmless in nature except that he asked her, "When are we going to hang out?"

My boyfriend doesn't usually hang out one-on-one with girls, he has friends that are girls, but he usually hangs out with them in a big mixed group (and most of them have boyfriends). This doesn't bother me, I do the same. A lot of the time, I even come with him (so they all know me).

Anyway, like I said, I'm not that jealous of a person, but I kind of found the invitation to hang out a little odd. I asked him about it and he said he meant as a group. I decided to accept it and forget about it.

Today I noticed she left him a random message on his Facebook wall that said: "Just saying Hello ;-)"

I know this is most likely harmless, but something about it just keeps bothering me.

I've met her before, she knows he's with me. She's older than us (by like 7 years!), has a kid, and from what I know she's not at all his type. I don't want to sound bitchy, but let's just say she's not especially attractive.

The point is, a huge part of me thinks it's ridiculous to even have a reaction to it--even if it is flirting, it sounds pretty harmless, and I trust my guy.... I think what bothers me is that she thinks she can do that. I don't know.

Am I over-reacting?
