Any ideas/suggestions for making 2 yr old to eat?

Hi, My year old is not at all eating. When we give something, she just keeps in her mouth as long as she can and spits off. Its such a pain in giving food. I tried the medicines from doctor to increase appetite, but of no use. I tried to distract her with some toys while eating, but nothing worked out. If someone has any suggestions, please let me know.
