Who should have to pay for the car repairs?
My sister and I have been sharing a car (that our parents own) for the last year and we also live together, next week we are moving out into our own separate places and I'm taking the car with me because it was initially given to me and I will need it to get to work and she doesn't.
This week the car broke down and it needs repairs that will cost $1200. When we talked about it my sister refused to pay her half which she says is because I will be taking the car next week which she won't be using anymore, but I think it's fair for us to each pay half because we have both been driving it and have both contributed to the damage for the last year that has caused it to break down and I think it's really unfair of her. What do you think?
