My boyfriend has gotten himself into huge debt with a bookie. He doesn't know how to stop gambling. He can afford the debt right now but I think he's gonna just keep gambling to try and win his losses back. I want to get married someday soon but he doesn't think his gambling is a problem and is gonna lead us to breaking it off.
If you've ever been in my shoes, please let him know that things will only get worse. My uncle was the same way and he been bankrupt twice. I don't want to live like that.

I've lost close to $10,000 in the past 2 years. I make $96,000 a year. It's just a hobby of mine and I get a huge rush out of it. It's almost as good as sex.
Now, if you take her spending habits, she shops like the usual woman likes to shop. If I add up what she spends on eating out and clothes, it trumps my betting big time!
I put the money aside that I gamble with each year and if I lose it all, I don't gamble any more for the year. It's that simple.
The bookie is cool with me. I always pay up.
