I started dating Jenna last summer cos we worked the same summer job. She is a senior in high school. I'm only a freshman. She's really sweet to me and we have a great time together when we're alone. But when we get around her friends that are seniors she picks on me. Here's what she does.

She laughs about me not being able to grow a beard.
She laughs that I'm smaller than most of her friends.
If they say something about me she laughs with them instead of defending me.
If she really cares why isn't she on my side? I tell her it upsets me and she shrugs it off or tells me about her reputation. I mean she's dating me. Why date me if I hurt your rep?

I'm not as bad as he is saying. I say things sarcastically but I still love him. They are just jokes. I don't always laugh with my friends. They think it's cute I date a younger guy that doesn't even have his license yet (he's almost 16 and I will be 18 in 3 months). He should focus on his friends who idolize him for dating a senior and be happy with that. I guess he's just not old enough to not let things pull on his heartstrings. I just don't think I'm wrong. He just is taking this way to serious. I'll stop making comments but I will probably still laugh with my friends cos they do say some funny stuff. Cheer up, J. You got a senior!
