Am I being unreasonable to expect my husband to stop drinking since he lost his job?

My husband just lost his job, so I"m back to work full time and he's now home full time taking care of the baby. We really need to cut back on expenses. He was already drinking way too much 4-5 beers a night. He said he could cut back to 2 a night. I stopped drinking my one glass of wine every night because I want to save the money.
