How do you tell your overbearing parents you are married?

Before I go too far, let me tell you what's going on. I'm almost 40 years old, I have been married and divorced twice before with the latest ending only 2 months ago. Being an only child, my parents continue to believe they must "protect" me from everything, everything I do is wrong or evil, did I mention they are the classic "holy rollers"? Anyway, yes, I got married a couple of weeks ago to someone I have known my entire life, one would think that would be easy to tell them since I have known him forever. However, the fact that my parents were so judgemental while I was growing up is the exact reason they never met him...he was from the "wrong side of the tracks". No, he did not break up my marriage and I did not break up his. However, I am worried that my parents will go nuts (considering they absolutely love my ex husband and think I am evil for not wanting to stay with him for reasons I do not wish to discuss with them or anyone else). Help...what should I do?
