should i sleep in bed with him or on the couch?

My fiance and I have just found out that I am pregnant, but at the same time we found out that i have a gull stone. I am up all night vommiting, but my fiance needs to get his sleep so he can go to work well rested right? Well every time I tell him that I will go lay down on the couch he gets mad because he wants me to stay in bed with him, but he has been late getting up because he says he is tired I dont know what to do?
