Should I donate an egg or not?

My husband and I have recently found out about an agency that matches people up with infertile couples that will pay up to $5,000 for an egg. I like the idea of helping someone, and also getting paid to do it. I'm just not sure if I want to put my body through all of that, plus the thought of giving an egg kinda makes me feel like I'm selling my baby.
