Should hubbie cook dinner when wife buys hamburger helper for him and he is laid off?

Hubbie works 1/2 day on Thurs. Last Thurs, on my way home after a hectic no-lunch day, I call to find out if "we" need cigs. He doesn't know, so yes, we do. He then asks if I've thought of dinner. No, just got out of work and now am standing in line. You? He describes everything he ate that day, says he's hungry. Didn't ask if I even ate that day. He had nothing prepared, I made dinner. He said he feels like he's "expected" to make dinner for when I get home. I say "not really, but don't call and ask me what is for dinner because you're hungry after not working all day. We're still not talking.
