About Me

I have a Solutions focused approach and it is my goal to offer you a sympathetic ear and when you are ready I will help you feel better quickly by working with you to find a solution to your problem.
I work with such issues as relationship problems, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem and other issues.
I trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for three years with Stanford University psychiatrists in the Dr. David Burns style of CBT called TEAM Therapy and I am a second level certified in TEAM Therapy. In this training I have learned some powerful tools to empower you to solve your own problems quickly.

Education

Master’s Degree in Counseling in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley. In addition, I am a Career Development Facilitator, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a trained and Certified Life Coach.

Qualifications

I am a dually licensed therapist. I am both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I have 10 years of counseling experience and I also have a private practice.
