My husband is an independent contractor. As soon as the economy went bad so did his work opportunities. We have 3 kids. I'm worried about next week, next month, the next five years...? What if things get really bad? I'm a stay at home Mom. He has the chance to take a full time job. Instead he's here at home with us - sometimes he mows the lawn - most of the time he doesn't help out at all... If he's not going to work - he needs to help out around the house.

I love what I do. I love being my own boss. It affords me the chance to come and go as I please - but also, more importantly, help my wife with the kids. When she can't - I take my kids to daycare, baseball practice - anything they want. I will always provide for my family. She shouldn't worry so much. And I ALWAYS help around the house.Yeah the economy is bad right now - we just need to weather the storm and things wil get better. And when they do I won't be around for her as much.
