My husband feels it's necessary for me to eat wheat pasta. I admit I cook pasta dishes at least 3 times a week because I love it. The thing is he thinks I am gaining weight because of it and if I'm not gonna cut down on the pasta, I should switch to wheat.
Wheat pasta does not have the same taste! And he keeps digging on me about it. Anything I say about my weight to him he goes back to the pasta or makes a joke saying i'm gonna look like the cheese oozing from lasagna. It's disrespectful.
I am ok with my weight and I don't think he needs to keeps telling me about the weight and the pasta. I don't see a reason to switch.

I don't feel bad about this. The thing about it is wheat pasta takes the same. You cannot tell a difference after you've had it a few times.
My biggest gripe about it is she is making this for everyone - not just her. She is feeding it to the kids and myself. I don't want all these carbs. I don't feel right. Our kids are starting to show it. They definitely aren't as active on the days we have pasta.
It's not even about you.
