My future husband's boss is really into him. You can tell anytime I go into the office she gives me the cold shoulder and I can jsut tell its from jealousy. Jeff thinks it's funny when she makes comments to him or winks. It's inappropriate! If she was a guy and he was a girl there would be a harassment lawsuit but Jeff just laughs.
ANyway, we are making up a guest list for the wedding and I don't feel comfortable inviting her for this reason. She is manipulative and keeps asking him when she's getting her invite but I keep telling him to say it's just a small private wedding, which it is but some friends will be invited.
If she gets invited, I think she'll think it's because he wants her there which I don't think he does. I don't want her there because she will think he did and think she pulled on over on me. I don't care if she gets mad if she's not invited.

I have to invite her. She is my boss and I don't want to piss her off because that's the type of person she is. I also don't want to piss off my future wife because I can't escape her but more importantly because I like my job and we definitely need my job.
I don't see a way out of inviting her unless I can find a new job before the wedding and will pay me what I make now. I've actually looked and nobody is hiring and we can't relocate with all this going on right now.
Plus, I don't see this as an issue. This is one of those things we have to do in life. I think she plays it up more than anything. I seriously doubt she wants someone below her in the company. She's not that type.
And she will probably give us an expensive gift to showoff so why not?
