my wife won't let us move to another state which aside from having nice winters, has offered me a job with a significant pay increase. the cost of living factored in, it's actually a huge increase. she won't leave cos her family lives here. with this type of increase, she could always come back and visit. she obviously doesn't want to get ahead.

I love being close to my family. It makes me happy. I find a lot of comfort in the fact I can drive only a few minutes to see my mom and dad, they can watch our kids whenver we need, and I can always have someone to talk to. My sister is here too. She's my best friend so I'd be leaving her also.
